At the heart of the upgrade was the replacement of existing Coemar Panorama fixtures with custom-specified Robe Anolis Calumma MC luminaires. Each vessel required a tailored approach, with varying fixture quantities and layouts, but all aligned to the same goal: elevating the onboard guest experience through dynamic, high-performance architectural lighting. To meet the unique constraints of each ship, the luminaires were adapted with custom rear-mounted IP-rated junction box modifications. This enabled the new fixtures to integrate seamlessly into the existing bulkhead spaces without the need for additional structural alterations, streamlining the installation while maintaining the integrity of each vessel. Across the seven completed ships to date, more than 230 Robe Anolis Calumma MC RGBCW LED luminaires, fitted with 65-degree lenses, have been installed, delivering richer colour, improved coverage and greater versatility.

The upgrade extends far beyond ambient lighting. With increased output and enhanced colour capabilities, the new system allows the decks to transform into dynamic event spaces, creating new opportunities for onboard entertainment and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Despite the scale and complexity of the programme, all works were completed while the vessels remained fully operational. Our team worked efficiently and discreetly to minimise disruption, ensuring a seamless experience for both crew and passengers throughout every installation.
